Developed as a renewal product of the FHJ connector, the FHA achieves an ultra-low mounting height of just 1.1mm, enabling significant space savings in thin-profile electronic devices. The Non-ZIF design requires no actuator or flip lock, reducing the connector profile and simplifying the mating operation. The connector supports FPC with 0.3mm thickness only. The (HF) designation indicates halogen-free construction, meeting environmental requirements for green electronics. The ETB suffix indicates embossed tape packaging for automated assembly.

The 10FHA-SM1-GAN-ETB(HF) operates as a Non-ZIF FPC connector where the FPC is inserted directly into the connector without an actuator mechanism. The SM1 contact design provides sufficient normal force to maintain reliable contact with the FPC conductors through friction alone. The GAN designation specifies the contact and housing material configuration, while ETB indicates the embossed tape carrier for pick-and-place assembly.
