The 35SVPK180M is a 180uF 35V conductive polymer aluminum solid electrolytic capacitor. The conductive polymer cathode provides ~15 mOhm ultra-low ESR, eliminating the high-frequency ESR minimum found in wet aluminum capacitors. 3.8A ripple current rating for demanding DC-DC output applications. Solid polymer eliminates drying-out failure mode for long service life.

An aluminum anode foil with etched/formed oxide dielectric and a conductive polymer cathode layer. The polymer replaces the wet electrolyte, providing orders-of-magnitude lower ESR and eliminating the drying failure mechanism. The solid construction is non-polar, but voltage polarity must still be observed.
