The CAT5113ZI-10-T3 from onsemi is a 10-tap digitally programmable potentiometer (DPP) with I2C interface in an 8-pin SOIC package. The 100kOhm resistor ladder has 10 taps selectable through an I2C command. The wiper position is stored in non-volatile EEPROM and automatically recalled on power-up, eliminating the need for processor re-initialization. With 2.5V to 6V supply range and 1M cycle EEPROM endurance, it is suitable for set-and-forget calibration applications.

The CAT5113 consists of a 100kOhm resistor ladder with 10 equally-spaced taps and a CMOS multiplexer that connects the wiper (RW) to the selected tap. An I2C slave interface (address 0101000) receives commands to increment, decrement, or directly set the wiper position. The current wiper setting is stored in non-volatile EEPROM. On power-up, the auto-recall feature loads the last stored wiper position from EEPROM to the multiplexer, restoring the previous setting without processor intervention.
