The IS25LP080D-JNLE-TR operates as a multi-I/O Serial NOR Flash. (1) The SPI interface supports Standard (1-1-1), Dual (1-1-2 or 1-2-2), and Quad (1-1-4 or 1-4-4) modes. In Quad mode, four data pins (SI, SO, IO2, IO3) transfer data simultaneously, quadrupling read throughput compared to standard SPI. The 133MHz clock with Quad I/O provides effective 532Mbps data rate. (2) Memory organization uses uniform 4KB sectors (256 sectors total) with 32KB and 64KB block erase options. The 256-byte page buffer enables efficient page-program operations (1.5ms typical). Sector erase takes 100ms, block erase 400ms-800ms, and chip erase 8s typical. (3) The DTR (Double Transfer Rate) mode clocks data on both rising and falling edges, effectively doubling throughput at 80MHz to equivalent 320Mbps. Deep power-down mode reduces current to 5uA for battery-powered applications.
