Product Overview
The ISO1176TDWR is a high-speed isolated RS-485/RS-422 transceiver with integrated transformer driver from Texas Instruments. This device combines a galvanically isolated differential line transceiver with an integrated oscillator/transformer driver that provides isolated power, eliminating the need for an external isolated power supply. Supporting data rates up to 40 Mbps, the ISO1176T features basic isolation rated for 2500 Vrms (1 min) and 4242 Vpk (VDE, 60s). With high common-mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 25 kV/µs minimum, the device maintains robust operation in noisy industrial environments. The receiver includes fail-safe circuitry for open, shorted, or idle bus conditions. Housed in a 16-pin wide-body SOIC package, the ISO1176TDWR is ideal for industrial automation, building automation, and power grid communication applications.
