The KLMBG2JETD-B041 is a 32GB eMMC 5.1 from Samsung integrating MLC NAND and controller in a 153-ball FBGA package. HS400 mode provides up to 400 MB/s throughput (330 MB/s sequential read, 100 MB/s sequential write). Built-in ECC, wear leveling, and bad block management eliminate the need for external NAND controller. The 0.8mm-thin package enables slim mobile designs.

The eMMC integrates MLC NAND array and intelligent controller. MLC stores 2 bits per cell for higher density than SLC. The controller manages: (1) Multi-bit ECC for MLC error correction, (2) Wear leveling to distribute writes, (3) Bad block management. HS400 uses DDR signaling on 8-bit DAT bus at 200 MHz for 400 MB/s peak. Command queuing (CQ) improves random I/O by allowing the host to queue multiple commands. 1.8V VCCQ reduces I/O power at high speeds.
