Product Overview
The KSZ8041TL is a single-chip 10Base-T/100Base-TX physical layer transceiver with multiple interface options, manufactured by Microchip Technology (formerly Micrel). This low-power CMOS PHY provides a complete physical layer solution supporting MII, RMII, and SMII (Serial MII) interfaces for flexible connection to various MAC layer controllers. The KSZ8041TL features HP Auto MDI/MDI-X for automatic cable crossover detection, LinkMD® TDR-based cable diagnostics, and programmable LED outputs. With power consumption under 180mW, single 3.3V supply operation with integrated 1.8V regulator, and a 48-pin TQFP package, the KSZ8041TL is ideal for applications requiring multiple PHY interface options including media converters, IP phones, set-top boxes, and networking equipment.
