Product Overview
The TLV3491AIDBVR is a single-channel nanopower push-pull output voltage comparator from Texas Instruments, optimized for ultra-low-power voltage monitoring and threshold detection in battery-powered systems. Operating from a 1.8 V to 5.5 V single supply and consuming only 0.85 uA typical quiescent current, it achieves 6 us propagation delay, an excellent speed-to-power ratio. The rail-to-rail input common-mode range extends 200 mV beyond both supply rails, and the push-pull CMOS output stage eliminates the need for an external pull-up resistor, reducing component count and power consumption. With a maximum offset voltage of 15 mV, 10 pA typical input bias current, and built-in hysteresis for noise immunity, the TLV3491 provides reliable performance across the -40 degC to +125 degC industrial temperature range. Packaged in a tiny 5-pin SOT-23 (DBV) package with a footprint of just 8.12 mm2, it is ideal for space-constrained portable and battery-operated devices. The TLV3491 family also includes dual (TLV3492) and quad (TLV3494) versions in various package options, making it suitable for power-sensitive low-voltage applications including battery monitoring, undervoltage detection, zero-crossing detection, power-on reset, window comparators, and wake-up event detection.
