Product Overview
The MAX3232ECUE is an enhanced ESD-protected RS-232 transceiver from Analog Devices (formerly Maxim Integrated). This device features ±15kV ESD protection on all transmitter outputs and receiver inputs, operating from a single 3.0V to 5.5V supply. It includes two drivers and two receivers, utilizing a dual charge-pump architecture to generate true RS-232 voltage levels. Available in a TSSOP-16 package, the MAX3232ECUE supports data rates up to 250 kbps and meets TIA/EIA-232-F and ITU V.28 standards.
