The 9776080960R from YAGEO is a 10kOhm NTC thermistor in 0805 SMD package. 3950K B-value provides predictable resistance change with temperature for accurate measurement. Standard 10kOhm at 25C is universally supported by MCU thermistor lookup tables and Steinhart-Hart calculations.

A metal oxide semiconductor (Mn, Ni, Co oxides) sintered into a ceramic body. The semiconductor mechanism causes resistance to decrease exponentially with temperature (Negative Temperature Coefficient). The B-value describes the resistance-temperature curve: R(T) = R0 * exp(B * (1/T – 1/T0)).
