Product Overview
The SN65LVDS2DBVR from TI is a single LVDS line receiver in a tiny SOT-23-5 package, supporting data rates up to 400 Mbps. It converts LVDS differential signals (350 mV swing) to single-ended CMOS/TTL levels for point-to-point data links.

Working Principle
Differential input comparator detects LVDS signals with ±100 mV sensitivity. The receiver converts the 350 mV LVDS swing to full-rail CMOS output. Internal 100 ohm termination option eliminates external resistor. Fail-safe biasing ensures a defined output state when inputs are open or shorted.
Applications
- LVDS point-to-point link
- Camera/Display interface
- Backplane data receiver
- High-speed clock distribution
