Product Overview
The TC4427AVOA713 is a dual 1.5 A high-speed MOSFET gate driver from Microchip Technology, featuring two independent non-inverting driver channels in a compact SOIC-8 surface-mount package. As an improved version of the classic TC4427 family, the TC4427A series adds matched leading- and falling-edge propagation delays, enabling accurate handling of very short pulses down to the 25 ns range. Operating from a 4.5 V to 18 V supply, these drivers deliver 1.5 A peak source and sink current, capable of switching 1000 pF of capacitive load in under 30 ns. The devices provide exceptional robustness against latch-up, withstanding >500 mA reverse current on outputs, -5 V negative input swings, and ground pin noise spikes of up to 5 V.
